In a matrix of molecules collision of two suitable molecule is more likely to be possible than the three suitable molecules colliding at the same time. Similarly as the number of molecules taking part in the reaction increases probability of possibility of all the molecules coming to a common place and colliding goes on decreasing.
Therefore less chances of reaction taking place as all the molecule colliding simultaneously is very rare. And thats why the reaction of higher order are very rare.
